Highlighting Four Courses that Support Heart Health and Knowledge for American Heart Month

February is American Heart Month.

Did you know that heart disease is the leading cause of death in the U.S. and largely preventable?1In fact, cardiovascular disease cases can be reduced by 90% through healthy diet, exercise, and not smoking.2

In support of American Heart Month, Medline University is highlighting four of our courses that support heart health and knowledge. Being prepared and knowing what to do in the event of an emergency is critical for all clinicians. These courses are offered thanks to our partnership with National Health Care Provider Solutions (NHCPS).

1. ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support Course

The first course is ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support, which will prepare you to respond to life-threatening emergencies in the adult population with advanced interventions. This PALS course is based on the latest guidelines which focus on doing several tasks simultaneously with a group process that enables efficiency and minimization of error. 4. CPR, AED & First Aid Course
