Course Description
Difficult to heal wounds are challenging. When conventional care has been unsuccessful in providing the expected healing outcome, the use of adjunct treatment is an option. In this course, hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) will be discussed in depth along with negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT), electronic stimulation (E-Stim) and ultrasound as treatment options for non-healing wounds.
