As nursing assistants, you have the most direct contact with residents, and

personal information is private or confidential, and should only be used in
the treatment of that resident. This lesson will provide the student with the
necessary information to:
1. Define the term confidentiality 2. Identify the resident rights
requirements for confidentiality 3. List the different types of confidential
information 4. List three methods to protect confidential resident
