Course Description
This brief course was developed with the certified nursing assistant in mind and provides a foundation of knowledge the certified nursing assistant can use when caring for a client with a cognitive impairment.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the course, the learner will be able to:
- Define cognitive impairment
- Describe signs and symptoms of Alzheimer's Disease
- Describe stages of Alzheimer’s Disease
- List strategies to assist in care of the cognitively impaired
