Course Description

Trauma is a widespread public health concern in the U.S. resulting from different causes including but not limited to physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, neglect, acts of violence, or war. Trauma affects all individuals regardless of age, socioeconomic status, gender, race, and sexual orientation. As a severe public health concern with far-reaching consequences, trauma needs to be addressed.
