01-25-2021 11:59 AM

Course Description

The goal of this program is to define and discuss the Joint Commission's National Patient Safety Goals for 2025, including the problems and concerns that have led to its implementation. The program provides a detailed review of the various patient safety goals that have been identified for implementation, plus the Elements of Performance that will be required to meet these goals.

National patient safety goals are updated based on feedback and data for better results and cost effectiveness. Some considerations include evidence-based practice and sentinel event data analysis. To that end, the existing core goals will remain, with a few new goals added in 2025.
