Course Description
The Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program is required for all healthcare facilities that participate in Medicaid and Medicare. It provides a structured approach to enhance the quality of care and services to patients and residents. It emphasizes the importance of integrating quality assurance and performance improvement to enhance patient care, streamline operations, and promote a culture of excellence. While QAPI can be used in various healthcare settings, this course will focus mostly on nursing home settings.
