The 5 Step Approach for Avoiding VAP (1.0 CE for Nurses and 1.0 CRCE for Respiratory Therapists)

Up to 28 percent of mechanically ventilated patients develop Ventilator- Associated Pneumonia, or VAP. This course offers five steps based on the Institute of Healthcare Improvement, or IHI, Ventilator Bundle, with a goal of reducing the mortality of VAP patients.
