Course Description

Cardiac electrophysiology is the study of the electrical system of the heart. This course will explore the basics of cardiac electrophysiology and strengthen the building blocks of EP knowledge. An in depth guide to understanding the procedures used in the EP lab will be reviewed.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the course, the learner will be able to:

  • Gain a better understanding of electrophysiology (EP)
  • Be able to assist EP physicians with monitoring and recording of findings during EP studies
Intended Audience

This course is intended for nurses, registered cardiac electrophysiology specialists and physician assistants.

CE Information

This course is approved for 2.0 contact hours by the Florida and California State Boards of Nursing. 

Completion of this course can be submitted as 2.00 CEU towards the CEU requirement set forth by  Cardiac Credentialing International.
