Course Description

Teamwork brings people together and motivates them to accomplish goals. Teamwork can achieve more than just individual efforts to deliver effective care in an ever-increasingly complex healthcare setting.

Leadership has a responsibility to help motivate the team to do great work clearly and consistently. Positive organizational goals can be achieved when good teamwork is in place. Effective teamwork is essential for patient safety. The team has a shared responsibility. Patients are cared for by a team made up of professionals. Each team member has a role and responsibility when it comes to patient care.
